Thank you for visiting our page! The Southlake Community Services Department is dedicated to providing world-class experiences for all those who live, work and play in Southlake. From our award-winning parks, resident favorite Senior Activity Center to all The Marq Southlake has to offer, we are here to help create community spirit.

The department is home to Southlake Parks & Recreation, Champions Club, Legends Hall, Senior Activity Center and Southlake Public Art.  We offer progressive social and cultural opportunities to enrich the quality of life for our community. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy and participate in!

Planning for the Future

We’re always thinking about what’s happening next. The City of Southlake uses a rigorous Comprehensive Planning process to help ensure the vision of the community is achieved with the highest possible standards and fiscal responsibility. In Community Services, that means we utilize the Parks, Recreation & Open Space/Community Facilities Master Plan to help support a comprehensive integrated parks, recreation and open space system for all ages that creates value and preserves natural assets to the City. Our Partners

We work with several boards and commissions to help further the department’s growth.  The dedicated volunteers who serve on the Parks & Recreation Board, the Southlake Parks Development Corporation, Community Enhancement Development Corporation, Senior Advisory Commission, Southlake Arts Council and the Southlake Youth Action Commission are the building blocks that reflect us and help make us stronger. Want to get involved with us?  We have several volunteer opportunities available for you. Help out at the Senior Center or take some time to play at summer camp. Our volunteers are simply the best.
