Senior Programs & Activities

The Southlake Senior Activity Center welcomes you to explore and enjoy the programs we have designed especially for you. We have missed you and appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility as we reopen the Senior Center and begin programs once again.

Please take the time to sign our Updated Waiver.

  • Coffee will be provided from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Outside food and drinks are permitted.
  • Senior Group Fitness Classes are offered with everyone's safety and well-being in mind.
  • Disinfectant wipes are readily available, and members are encouraged to use them prior to and after utilizing the amenities.
  • Duplicate Bridge has resumed on Mondays from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. 
  • Party Bridge has resumed on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM.
  • Art class has resumed with limited capacity and online pre-registration is required.
  • The Senior Center Lounge and Café is open for our senior members.
  • The fitness room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are recommended to bring their own water bottles.
  • Monday's Metroport Meals on Wheels (MMOW) meal program is once again indoors as a congregated luncheon. No to-go option is offered.

Program FAQs:

  • All programs and activities require advance registration and space is limited. 
  • Online Registration for programs will open two weeks prior to the new month for Southlake residents and one week prior to the new month for non-residents.
  • All senior members are required to scan their membership card prior to attending registered program. 
  • Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient interest, weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. 
  • Proper attire is required for the activity for which you are participating. 
  • The City of Southlake reserves the right to define in- appropriate attire when necessary.
  • If you are registered for a program and cannot attend, please contact 817-748-8315 as soon as possible so the waitlist can be contacted.

All programs and events offered at the Senior Center have the safety and well-being of everyone—including other members and employees – in consideration. Members should not attend activities or trips while contagious with any illness or diagnosis of illness. Members should wash their hands often, especially when handling playing cards, dominoes, bingo cards and other game pieces
