February 16, 2018 - February 19, 2018 @ Bob Jones Nature Center
On February 17, we will host a bird-themed hike that will help you identify our local wintering birds.
The GBBC is led by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society with Canadian partner, Bird Studies Canada. The focus is to help scientists paint a better picture of the bird population by tallying up our local bird populations. We will provide binoculars and local bird checklists and instruction sheets. Anyone with an Internet connection, anywhere in the world, can take part, even through a mobile device. All ages and skill levels are very welcome– if you can identify a single species of bird we want to hear from you. For more info go to bjnc.org.
