    Join the City of Southlake in this recreational youth volleyball league. Jerseys will be provided and a set rotation will be utilized to ensure all players receive equal playing time. Every effort will be made to honor coaching and player request, but requests are not guaranteed.

  2. Women's Self Defense (Ages 18+)

    April 17, 2018, 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM @ Southlake Activity Center

    This class will empower women to fight back by teaching techniques on how to survive an attack from an assailant. The class will also cover escapes from non-threatening annoyance attacks, defenses from chokes and strangles, defenses against attacks from the front and rear, what to do if you are tackled and brought to the ground, and much more.

  3. Chess (Ages 6-16)

    April 17, 2018, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Southlake Activity Center

    This is a class open to children of all skill levels and abilities. Students will receive a half hour of supervised play and instruction. This class will teach the fundamentals of chess and introduce the use of notation, which is the ability to record one's moves. Students will also learn tournament procedures and etiquette.

  4. Old School PE: Fun & Games (Ages 5 - 10)

    Come join us for fun games! The Old School PE Class is all about playing some old school favorites like tag, dodgeball, kickball, soccer, red light/green light and much more. This class is focused on having a good time in a fun and friendly environment that promotes active and healthy lifestyles. Your student will leave with important skills like teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship.

  5. TGA Premier Jr. Golf (Ages 5-14)

    April 17, 2018, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ Durham Intermediate School

    TGA makes golf easily accessible by bringing our unique curriculum to the schools and community. We hope to instill confidence, build life values and offer a fun educational experience. All equipment is provided, but students may bring their own clubs.

  6. Volleyball Skills Academy (Ages 8-13)

    April 17, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ CISD Admin

    This all-skills volleyball class will ignite and excite students about the fun competition of volleyball. Players develop fundamental skills including serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Skills based drills, as well as 3 vs. 3 and 6 vs. 6 wave competition drills, will be used to apply these skills at a fun pace. Players have the opportunity to encompass all these skills in game situations during scrimmage style games at the conclusion of each month.

  7. Southlake Stingrays Stroke & Turn Swim Clinic (Ages 10-20)

    April 17, 2018, 7:45 PM - 8:45 PM @ CISD Aquatics Center

    Instructor: Lynne Anderson. These classes are for older and/or more advanced and mature swimmers who have competed on a swim team previously, or who are very strong, comfortable swimmers who can handle a more intense workout (2000+ yards per class). Classes for this level are available three days during the week– swimmers can sign up for 1, 2 or all 3 classes per week. If your 10 & Older advanced swimmer wants to sign up to attend all three S&T classes each week, then they are eligible to sign up for the 'volume' discount rate of $310 (vs. $450 when paid individually).
